How does it work?
Create a snapshot of the fingerprint
1. After closing the entropyseal lid firmly, open the app and click "New Fingerprint".
2. Align the three dot markers on the entropyseal lid with the outlines on the app. This ensures your fingerprint is correctly oriented.
3. When ready, click "Take snapshot". Now the fingerprint snapshot is stored in the app for later verification.
Verify the fingerprint
1. When you want to verify the fingerprint, click the fingerprint in the menu and click "Compare".
2. Like before, align the markers and take the image.
3. Now a blinking comparision of the original and new fingerprint will start. Here you can easily see if the pearl pattern has changed
What does a valid fingerprint look like?
A fingerprint is valid when the overall pearl pattern matches the original fingerprint. Don't worry if the snapshots are not perfectly aligned or if a few loose pearls are out of place.
What does a invalid fingerprint look like?
An invalid fingerprint will clearly show a different pearl pattern where the pearls are in completely difference places compared to the original fingerprint. This is easily seen during the blinking comparison.
